Find the real pain your customers can't stop talking about.
We find your audience across the internet, collect the real signals — the actual words people use when they describe their problems — and turn that into a report that tells you exactly what hurts, what they'll pay to fix, and what language to use to reach them.
In 48 hours. From $490. Every insight traceable to a source URL.
Built on netnography · 3,348 signals analysed · Verified by researchers with 20+ years experience
I built Pulse for myself. I was trying to validate three different products — one after another — and I kept asking the same question: what does my customer actually need, and will they pay for it?
Traditional research was too slow and too expensive. Surveys got ignored. Asking an AI gave me confident-sounding fiction. So I built a way to go find what real people were already saying — in forums, communities, review platforms — and turn those organic signals into something I could actually use.
The first report I ran on my own product showed me things I would never have found any other way. The third time, I realised this wasn't just a tool for me. Every founder building something is asking the same question. So I made it available to everyone.
— The Soulution team
The question every founder is actually asking at 2am:
“What is my customer's real pain — and will they pay to solve it?”
Not the polished pain they describe in a survey you designed. The real pain. The one they vent about in a forum at 11pm. The one behind a one-star review. The one that made them try four different tools before giving up.
That pain is specific. It has a language. It has a price attached to it. And it's already out there — in thousands of organic conversations — waiting to be found. Pulse finds it. Collects it. Turns it into a report you can use tomorrow.
What the real pain is
What your customers say it is — in their own words, unprompted, in communities where they’re not talking to you.
What language to use
The exact phrases that resonate. The words that signal understanding. Use their language in your copy, your pitch, your positioning.
Whether they’ll pay
Willingness-to-pay signals found in organic conversation — before you build a pricing page. Real price mentions from real signals.
| Method | Cost | Time | Trust |
|---|---|---|---|
| McKinsey / MR agency | $50K–500K | 3 months | High |
| Traditional freelancer | $5K–$15K | 3–6 weeks | Variable |
| DIY research | “Free” | 4–8 weeks | Low method |
| ChatGPT | $20/mo | Fast | ⚠ Hallucinated |
| Soulution Pulse | $490–3,490 | 24–48h | Source URLs |
“Spent $300K on a healthcare app that nobody uses.”
“I spent over a million on features that nobody uses.”
“The $8M Supply Chain Software That Nobody Uses.”
These are not outliers. They are what happens when products are built without real market intelligence.

Not web scraping. Peer-reviewed methodology.
Netnography was developed by Prof. Robert Kozinets at York University in 1998. Used by P&G and Microsoft for over 25 years. The core insight: the richest customer intelligence isn't collected through surveys. It's already there — in the organic conversations people have when they're not being asked research questions for someone else's benefit.
We collect those signals at scale, classify them systematically, and synthesise them into a framework you can act on in 48 hours. Every claim we make is traceable to a real person saying something real in public. Not an AI inference. Not a survey response.

“Can’t I just ask ChatGPT?”
ChatGPT has no access to real conversations happening right now in your specific market. It generates plausible-sounding answers from training data — not real signal from your market at this moment. Try asking it to show you the source URL for a claim. It can’t. Because the claim isn’t sourced. Every Pulse insight has a URL you can click.
“Is this just scraping Reddit?”
Collection is only the first step. Anyone can read Reddit. The value is in systematic classification — by persona, pain domain, emotion, willingness to pay — and in the synthesis that turns 1,200 posts into a 9-section decision-ready report in 48 hours. The method is netnography, not web scraping. There is a significant difference.
“What if my market isn’t on Reddit?”
We go where your buyers are. Reddit and HN are primary for most B2B and tech markets. G2 and Trustpilot are rich for e-commerce and SaaS competitive research. LinkedIn for B2B markets. Niche industry forums when needed. We tell you upfront if your market isn’t reachable this way — before you pay.
“How is this different from a survey?”
A survey asks people questions they may not answer honestly, at a time they may not want to engage. Average response: 3–5%. Pulse finds what they already said — unprompted, in their own words, to other people, not to you. Nobody performed for a researcher. That’s a fundamentally different signal.
“What if my topic is too niche?”
Tell us in the intake form. If signal volume is likely to be low (under 200 signals), we’ll recommend a different approach — and won’t charge you for a product that can’t deliver what we promised.
Instead of guessing — run a Pulse.
Find out what your market actually needs before you spend a day building the wrong thing.
